LG Energy Solution announced Thursday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indigo Technologies, a U.S. commercial electric vehicle startup, to supply 46-series cylindrical batteries from 2027 to 2030. The nickel-manganese-cobalt batteries, named for their 46-millimeter diameter, will power Indigo's next-generation commercial EVs, including the Flow Ride and Flow Cargo models. The two companies also plan to explore ways to extend driving range and shorten charging times.
