South Korean exchange Upbit announced it will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for digital assets on the Polygon network, including Stepn (GMT), JPYC (JPYC), and Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL), as well as Polygon network-based NFTs. The suspension will begin on October 1, 2026, at 18:00 KST, due to a hard fork on the Polygon network. Trading for these digital assets will not be affected.
