Former LinkedIn chief Roslansky to leave Microsoft, following other exec departures
Microsoft executive Ryan Roslansky, who led the company's LinkedIn subsidiary for six years, will leave at the end of 2026. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced the departure in a Thursday memo. Roslansky had taken on additional responsibilities in Microsoft's Office productivity software group in 2025 and was named a leader of the Microsoft 365 applications and Copilot AI platform earlier this year. His departure follows other executive exits this year, including gaming head Phil Spencer and Office leader Rajesh Jha, while security head Charlie Bell transitioned to an individual contributor role. Roslansky stated in a memo that his decision was due to his inability to be in Redmond full-time, as his life and family are in the Bay Area.
