Amazon has released Strands Decider 2B, an open-source decision model, aiming to provide high-speed, low-cost automated AI intelligence.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Strands Labs has released its latest decision model, Strands Decider 2B. Inspired by TypeSafe's Jev, the model aims to provide a high-speed, low-cost method for classifying and giving confidence scores for choices among preset options. Strands Decider 2B is fully open-source, can run locally, and is suitable for agent workflows where the full capabilities and costs of large language models (LLMs) are not required.
