The Pentagon is deploying another aircraft carrier strike group and additional Marine Corps vessels to the Middle East, adding approximately 9,000 to 10,000 troops, the Wall Street Journal reported. These forces are expected to arrive in late November, following considerations by President Donald Trump for new strikes against Iran without a deal. More than 50,000 U.S. troops are currently deployed in the region.
