Jim Cramer says software stocks can continue climbing after Q3 rebound
CNBC's Jim Cramer stated that enterprise software's comeback was the defining stock market story of the third quarter, with the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) rising 17% while the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) declined 11%. Cramer is bullish on Salesforce, which rallied 46% during the quarter, citing increased investor confidence in AI as a growth driver and the company's strong performance. He also favors Microsoft, up 37%, due to strong Copilot demand and accelerating Azure growth. Workday and Veeva also saw significant rallies of 55% and 60% respectively, as AI disruption fears eased. However, Cramer expressed concern about the impact of higher interest rates on the stock market going into the new quarter, following the Federal Reserve's September rate hike.
