Fiserv, a global payments and fintech giant, has launched its digital asset platform for financial institution clients. Its first real-world use case is the USD-backed stablecoin Roughrider Coin, introduced by the Bank of North Dakota, with VersaBank as the issuer, Fireblocks providing infrastructure, and Solana processing transactions. Over 90 banks and credit unions are expected to access the platform through Fiserv's Commercial Center.
