HKEX to refine listing rules for mainland firms, expand multi-asset ecosystem
Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) Chief Executive Bonnie Chan stated that the exchange will continue to optimize its listing framework to facilitate mainland enterprises listing in Hong Kong. The HKEX is creating more tailored listing chapters, no longer requiring three consecutive years of profit, especially for companies in AI, biotech, and new energy. Additionally, the HKEX plans to introduce more yuan-denominated investment products and develop other investment options in fixed income, currencies, and commodities to meet diversifying investor demand.
