According to The Information, Koray Kavukcuoglu, CEO of Google DeepMind, publicly detailed Google's robotics strategy for the first time last week, emphasizing that its core strength lies in models rather than robot hardware. Google has launched the Gemini Robotics model, optimized for physical control scenarios, and is collaborating with robotics companies such as Boston Dynamics. The goal is to replicate Android's expansion path by providing core software and leveraging partners to broaden its application scope. Additionally, Google announced this week the initial release of its Gemini 4 Argon model to select enterprise clients.
