SlowMist: Aave v3 Loop Safe Module Attacked, Approximately 114 ETH Stolen
SlowMist has issued a security alert stating that the Aave v3 Loop Safe Module was attacked due to an access control vulnerability in the `open()` and `close()` functions of FlashLoopAdapter. The attacker allegedly bypassed Safe authorization and executed arbitrary modules, stealing approximately 114.09 ETH from two Safe multisig addresses while repaying about 1,300 WETH in debt to unlock collateral. Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated that this incident does not involve the Aave v3 core contracts but rather a third-party external adapter built on Aave, and thus has no impact on Aave v3.
