Tether's USDT to return to Bitcoin network this month via Utexo project
Tether’s USDT stablecoin is set to return to the Bitcoin network this month through its backed infrastructure project Utexo. The world’s largest stablecoin, with a market cap of nearly $190 billion, first debuted on Bitcoin in 2014 before moving to Ethereum and Tron. Utexo, which raised $7.5 million earlier this year, plans to support private USDT transfers, direct swaps between native Bitcoin and USDT, and loans backed by Bitcoin, while keeping most transaction data off Bitcoin’s public ledger.
