The World Food Programme (WFP) announced on Sunday that an airstrike in Sudan's South Kordofan state killed a UN aid truck driver. The agency stated that the trucks, which were carrying food aid, were "clearly marked as humanitarian vehicles" but were still attacked on Saturday. The convoy was traveling between two cities controlled by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) when the attack occurred.
