Jon Relleen, Director of Infrastructure and Exchanges at the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), stated at the "UK Public and Private Capital Markets Reform Summit 2026" that the FCA has completed key aspects of its multi-year work program to ensure capital markets function well and support economic growth. He noted that tokenization, AI, and private company share trading markets have become central to the FCA's capital markets policy agenda, and the FCA is collaborating with the Treasury, the Bank of England, and the private sector on wholesale market reform.
