HKMA hosts Cargox Solution Day, signs MoU with PAA and reports HK$180M trade finance loans
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today hosted its Cargox Solution Day to promote regional trade data connectivity. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with the PAA Digital Trade Alliance to advance trade finance digitalisation. The HKMA also shared results from its Cargox Pilot Programme, including a collaboration with the Shanghai Data Bureau that has enabled five pilot banks to approve ten trade finance loans totaling HK$180 million for Hong Kong businesses.
