Zcash Zebra node software has released four updates in two weeks, and the NU7 upgrade testnet has been activated.
The Zcash Foundation announced that its Zebra node software released four updates between September 21 and October 5, including versions 6.4.x and 7.0.0-rc.0. Zebra 6.4.2 fixed a remotely triggerable crash vulnerability, while 7.0.0-rc.0 is the first release candidate for the NU7 upgrade, which was activated on the testnet on October 4. The NU7 mainnet activation is tentatively scheduled for November 5, 2026.
