Anthropic expands Claude startup program, offering up to $45,000 in product discounts and credits.
AI company Anthropic announced on Tuesday the expansion of its Claude for Startups program, aiming to deepen collaboration with founders and fast-growing companies. The program, initially launched in May, already has thousands of participating companies. Eligible startups (founded within five years or funded within two years) can apply to join and receive up to $45,000 in Claude product discounts and credits, as well as a one-time $1,000 API credit and one year of free Claude Team service (up to five premium seats). Anthropic stated that this move is designed to ensure the next generation of businesses can build AI applications based on its products, as most of its revenue comes from enterprise clients, and it faces challenges from competitors like OpenAI and Google.
