IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva stated that while AI is a key driver of global growth, the AI building boom is inflationary, contributing to surging bond yields in the U.S., Germany, and Japan to multi-decade highs. She added that global public debt is near its highest level since World War II, on track to soon exceed 100% of GDP, with advanced economies being the "worst offenders."
