OpenAI stated that teenagers use ChatGPT for less than 15 minutes per day on average, and less than 2% of users use it continuously for more than 3 hours.
The company also noted that teenage ChatGPT users send 2.7 million more learning-related messages on average than non-users. Additionally, OpenAI is set to launch a new "College Planner" tool as students begin the university application process.
