CryptoSlate Analysis: Bitcoin Price Up 84% Since January 2024, Treasury Yields Climb Concurrently
CryptoSlate reports that Bitcoin's price still rose by 84.2% between January 2024 and October 5, 2026, even as the nominal and real yields of the 10-year US Treasury increased by 127 and 113 basis points, respectively, during the same period. The analysis, which covers daily data since January 2017, found a weak linear relationship between Bitcoin returns and US Treasury yields and DXY returns, suggesting that Bitcoin price appreciation can coexist with rising US Treasury yields.
