Jack Dorsey's Block gifted one Bitcoin, worth $85,000 at the time, to a lucky attendee at this year’s ComplexCon in Los Angeles. The fintech giant participated in the event to introduce newcomers to Bitcoin through "culture, shopping, and play." Block's Cash App featured a "Lightning Lake" fishing game, where one fortunate player won the full coin. Maria Pesce, Head of Bitcoin Marketing at Block, stated that the goal is to make Bitcoin everyday money, and ComplexCon provided an opportunity to reach a new audience. Celebrities including Kanye West's daughter North West and rapper French Montana were also spotted trying the game.
