ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok, has topped a list of China's top 100 globalizing enterprises, according to the South China Morning Post's latest database tracking the overseas expansion of mainland Chinese companies. The list, the first of its kind published by SCMP Plus, sees ByteDance ahead of Foxconn Industrial Internet, online fashion retailer Shein, and electric vehicle maker BYD. The study evaluated over 2,000 companies, assigning each a weighted score based on metrics such as overseas revenue.
