Samsung integrates USDC into Wallet app for cross-border remittances, targeting 82 million US Galaxy users
Starting late October, eligible Samsung Galaxy users in the US will be able to send USDC to other crypto wallets or local-currency payouts to bank accounts in over 60 countries. This feature will be available on 82 million Galaxy devices, with Solana and Sui providing underlying blockchain network support, Coinbase Prime Vault for stablecoin custody, and Bastion for regulated stablecoin infrastructure. Samsung will not charge fees for USDC transfers to compatible external wallets.
