Anthropic updates usage policy, bans model abuse and election interference
Anthropic has updated its usage policy to explicitly prohibit users from repeatedly abusing its Claude models in extreme cases, as well as banning election interference, deceptive campaigns, weapons software, and surveillance. The policy update is meant to apply only in extreme cases of cruelty toward models, not common user frustration or model testing.
