The White House announced that the Trump administration has secured investment commitments across several sectors, including steel, nuclear energy, natural gas, shipbuilding, and medical manufacturing. These include Mesabi Metallics' plan to build a $15 billion steel plant in Iowa, Anduril's $3.7 billion new shipyard project in Maryland, and a South Korean energy investment plan of up to $200 billion for the construction of nuclear power plants, natural gas pipelines, and power generation facilities in the United States. Additionally, Becton Dickinson and AstraZeneca also announced multi-billion dollar investments in the U.S. to expand domestic manufacturing and R&D.
