Cardano-linked privacy-focused blockchain Midnight recorded a 9,117% transaction surge in just days following the deployment of permissionless smart contracts on its mainnet on September 28. Network activity exploded from 284 transactions on October 1 to 26,178 transactions by October 8. Additionally, Midnight plans to bring private DeFi directly to Solana wallets via its v9 ledger upgrade, with a mainnet release scheduled for later this year.
