Investigation Reveals 58% Growth in Polygon Network USDT0 Holders Matches Scam Patterns
Blockchain analytics firm Bitquery released an investigation report on October 7, stating that 58% of the growth in the number of USDT0 holders on the Polygon network matches scam patterns such as address poisoning. Since August 2025, the number of addresses holding at least $10 has decreased by 42%, while the USDT0 supply has also fallen by 41%. The report also found that approximately 1.1 million addresses are similar to scam patterns, and 48% of holders have balances of less than one cent.
