The Stellar (XLM) blockchain has taken the lead globally in daily institutional capital inflows into investment funds, surpassing Ethereum. Over the past 24 hours, net inflows into Stellar-based investment funds totaled $17.1 million, compared to $16.0 million for Ethereum and $5.9 million for Polygon. This surge marks a fourfold expansion of Stellar's real-world asset (RWA) sector since the end of last year, with its total value reaching a record $3.5–4 billion, a 360% increase. As a result, Stellar has climbed to third place in the global blockchain ranking by assets under management (AUM), now trailing only Ethereum and BNB Chain. Capital inflows are driven by major regulated funds, including France's Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund ($1.29 billion), the U.S. Franklin Templeton BENJI government money market fund ($521.1 million), and the Ondo U.S. Dollar Yield (USDY) fund ($537.1 million). The network anticipates further growth in the first half of 2027, with DTCC confirming plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar for Russell 1000 stocks and major ETFs, and Tradable preparing to integrate up to $1 billion in private credit assets.
