Al Jazeera reported that the Yemeni internationally recognized government military stated its forces killed at least 1,150 Houthi militants and destroyed 180 combat, transport, and supply vehicles in the "Yemen Dawn" operation over the past 24 hours. A government military spokesperson said ground forces are continuing their offensive aimed at recapturing areas around the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a strategic trade route in the Red Sea. Currently, fierce fighting is underway around the strategic cities of Mocha and Dhubab along the Red Sea coast.
