Russian tech giant Yandex says its data center in Vladimir is shut down after a drone attack.
Russian tech and AI company Yandex announced that its data center in Vladimir has completely ceased operations after a drone attack. This marks the third attack on a Yandex data center in a week, following previous Ukrainian drone strikes on its facilities in the Kaluga region and Sasovo. The Sasovo data center housed two supercomputers used for developing Yandex's AI models. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is responding "mirror-style" to Russia's attacks on its data centers and telecommunications infrastructure.
