Former U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday called for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to step down, accusing him of causing diesel prices to rise due to attacks on Russian oil refineries, which is putting pressure on the Republican Party ahead of the midterm elections. Trump stated that it is time for Ukraine to get a new president. Previously, Trump had announced a diesel supply agreement with Russia in an effort to lower high fuel prices. Zelenskyy responded on Sunday, saying that Ukraine will continue to strike Russian oil refineries unless Russia stops attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
