The Hong Kong SFC has instructed the Stock Exchange to halt trading of Cha Bai Dao (02555.HK) shares starting at 9:00 AM on October 13. Unlike voluntary suspensions by listed companies, this halt was directly ordered by the regulatory body. Since its listing on the HKEX on April 23, 2024, Cha Bai Dao's share price has remained sluggish. As of the close of trading on October 12, its share price had fallen by approximately 77% from its offering price, with its total market capitalization shrinking to about HKD 5.96 billion.
