Alibaba's Tongyi Qianwen has launched three AI hardware products: the AI Glasses N1 series starting from 2,218 yuan, and AI ear-clip headphones starting from 1,099 yuan.
Alibaba's Qianwen released AI glasses N1, N1 Pro, and AI ear-clip headphones on October 13. All three products are now available for purchase on platforms such as Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, and Douyin. The standard set of AI glasses N1 starts at 2,218 yuan, while the N1 Pro standard set starts at 2,600 yuan. The AI ear-clip headphones are priced at 1,099 yuan for their initial sale. Song Gang, Vice President of Qianwen Business Unit, stated that AI wearables are an extension of Qianwen in the physical world and a crucial component of Personal Agent. The N1 series focuses on imaging and perception, supporting 4K video recording and proactive itinerary reminders. The N1 Pro builds on this by adding physiological monitoring, eye-tracking interaction, and iris verification, and has jointly developed payment processes with Ant Group's GPASS. The AI ear-clip headphones, co-launched by Qianwen and acoustic brand Bose, support real-time translation for 89 languages, AI real-time listening and note-taking, and voice-delegated tasks. IDC predicts that global smart glasses shipments will reach 23.687 million units by 2026, with the Chinese market increasing to 4.915 million units. Furthermore, smart glasses will be included in China's national subsidy program for the first time starting in 2026.
