Houthis Threaten Saudi Aramco Facilities and Airports, Vowing "Severe" Response if Sanaa is Attacked
Yemen's Houthi rebels warned employees and residents near all Saudi Arabian oil facilities to evacuate, stating that these locations are "legitimate targets." This follows a request from the Saudi-led coalition for civilians to evacuate the Yemen Petroleum Company's al-Sabah central station in Houthi-controlled Sana'a, in preparation for planned military operations. Houthi spokesperson Yahya Saree stated that if the Saudi coalition attacks Sana'a, the Houthis will respond with a "severe and painful" strike on the Saudi capital, Riyadh. He also declared on X that if the Saudi coalition launches an attack on Sana'a, the Houthis will target the locations requested for evacuation, including Saudi Aramco headquarters in Dammam, King Khalid International Airport, and an Aramco refinery in Riyadh. Previously, Riyadh airport was attacked on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in at least 13 deaths and over 300 injuries.
