Google DeepMind has unveiled Gemini 4 Argon, an advanced AI model designed for robotics. The model demonstrates a significant leap in physical understanding, code generation, and visual-semantic reasoning, accelerating progress toward physical AGI. It scored 87% on the Embodied Reasoning (ERQA) benchmark, outperforming other frontier models, and can boost real-world physical robot success rates from 56% to 75% while reducing completion times from 35s to 24s by generating new data in simulation. Argon can control various robots, develop digital twins, and perform complex manipulation tasks.
