Trezor to cut reseller network after Ledger spy implant discovery
Trezor announced it will terminate reseller authorizations on January 1, 2027, as a precautionary measure. This follows Ledger's confirmation that hardware wallets sold by Southeast Asian retailer CryptoBilis contained a hidden spy implant capable of stealing users' recovery phrases. Trezor stated its own devices have not been compromised and CryptoBilis was already removed from its seller list.
