Google Play now supports private, AI-generated apps, allowing users to run personal Android apps without public listing
Google announced on Tuesday that its Play Store now allows users to launch their own personal Android applications, created with AI, directly on their devices using a standard Google account, without requiring them to be publicly listed. These apps will remain completely private and will not appear in Play Store search or listings. Initially, the feature is available to users in the U.S., aged 18 and up, with plans to enable sharing with trusted friends in the coming months.
