Ripple integrates Stripe's Privy Wallet into XRP Ledger, AI payment transactions exceed 14 million
Ripple has integrated Privy's wallet technology, a Stripe subsidiary, into the XRP Ledger, enabling financial applications and AI agents to create accounts, hold cryptocurrencies, and make payments without users needing to manage wallet software themselves. This move will allow developers to create wallets within their products and authorize transfers involving XRP, the Ripple USD stablecoin RLUSD, and other assets issued on the network. As of Wednesday, XRPL AI Hub data shows that cumulative AI payments via the x402 standard have exceeded 14.3 million transactions, involving 169 registered merchants. However, the total cumulative transfer value is relatively small, at approximately 6,991 XRP and 12,752 RLUSD, indicating that many transactions involve small payments.
