Iraq PM assures Saudi Crown Prince Iraqi territory won't be used for attacks against Saudi Arabia
Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi assured Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) during his visit to Riyadh on Wednesday that Iraq's territory will not be used to launch attacks against Saudi Arabia or other regional countries. This follows a drone attack last month on Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline, which Saudi Arabia and Iraq's own investigation concluded originated in Iraqi territory. The pipeline, a key alternative to the Strait of Hormuz, has since resumed operations.
