Bitcoin whales accelerated accumulation ahead of the CPI report, holding 3.03 million BTC, but spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $568.6 million.
According to an October 13 report by CryptoQuant, Bitcoin whales are accelerating their accumulation, with their combined holdings increasing to 3.03 million BTC, marking the fastest monthly growth since February. Meanwhile, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $744.3 million over six trading days from October 5 to 12. Despite a net inflow of $175.7 million on October 13, the cumulative net outflow for the seven trading days decreased to $568.6 million. Additionally, large Bitcoin-backed loans (over $10 million) grew by 83.3% in September. These trends occurred ahead of the release of the U.S. September Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, with markets anticipating accelerating inflation, which could influence the Federal Reserve's interest rate policy.
