AI-developed ArtCraft, created by US-based software engineer Brandon Thomas, has released free versions of Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoCraft, PdfCraft) and Microsoft Office (WordCraft, DeckCraft, GridCraft). Thomas, using Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 and Rust, stated these "clean-room" replacements aim to disrupt the traditional software economic model, with Adobe's suite typically costing $779.99 annually.
