HKMA announces “ART” Framework to promote responsible A.I. adoption in banking sector
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the “ART” Framework, standing for Accountability, Resilience, and Trust, to support the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence (A.I.) in the banking sector. The framework aims to foster an A.I.-enabled banking ecosystem and provide a clear foundation for banks to develop and deploy A.I. responsibly. The HKMA is also co-hosting the two-day “Finance + A.I. Forum” with Cyberport, marking the successful completion of technical trials under the second cohort of the GenA.I. Sandbox.
