Ukrainians fear a reduction in U.S. intelligence and missile warnings, increasing the threat to civilians as Russian attacks intensify, Al Jazeera reported. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy stated on Monday that NATO's early warning satellites failed to provide intelligence data to Ukraine, despite U.S. President Donald Trump denying that Washington had stopped sharing intelligence. Ukrainian observers believe Trump's move aims to lower global oil prices by pressuring Kyiv to declare an "energy ceasefire" with Moscow, thereby helping the Republican Party win the midterm elections.

Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko, former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, stated that the lack of intelligence data "significantly affects air defense efficiency" and has led to Ukrainian drones and missiles "losing accuracy" when striking targets deep inside Russia. Trump announced a Russia-Ukraine "energy ceasefire" on Sunday, demanding an immediate halt to attacks on energy infrastructure by both sides. However, Kyiv expressed surprise, and Moscow refused to respond and continued to attack Ukrainian energy facilities. Additionally, Serhii Beskrestnov, head of Ukraine's drone operations, accused Musk's SpaceX on Wednesday of restricting Starlink satellite terminal services in the military-grade Starshield system. Musk responded that the White House owns and controls the Starshield system, and speed limitations were decided by Trump.
