Anthropic has been assigned a BB+ credit rating by KBRA, as Wall Street raises $60 billion for its AI chips.
AI company Anthropic has received a BB+ credit rating from KBRA, just one notch below investment grade. This follows a previous $35 billion chip financing deal for the company. Anthropic may also issue up to $42 billion in convertible notes to lease chips. The key takeaway is that Anthropic's large-scale AI expansion is increasingly reliant on affordable debt financing.
