U.Today reports that Dogecoin (DOGE) may experience its first daily "death cross" of 2026 in the coming days, as its 50-day moving average slopes downward while its 200-day moving average remains flat. Previously, Dogecoin saw a "golden cross" in October 2026, but subsequent profit-taking led its price to fall to $0.077.

Despite the bearish signals, crypto analyst Ali shared three bullish reasons on the X platform: the TD Sequential indicator issued a buy signal around $0.081; on-chain data shows approximately 36 billion DOGE were traded around $0.081; and whales have accumulated 600 million DOGE since October 12. If the $0.081 support level holds, Ali expects Dogecoin to potentially rebound to the $0.16-$0.17 range.

As of publication, Dogecoin has risen 3.19% in the past 24 hours to $0.081, after the market weighed higher-than-expected inflation data and the latest comments on interest rates from Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh.
