Bitcoin treasury company Strive plans to raise an additional $130 million by issuing more SATS shares to increase its Bitcoin holdings.
Bitcoin treasury company Strive plans to raise an additional $130 million on top of its previously announced $500 million initial public offering (IPO) to increase its Bitcoin holdings and expand operations. Strive initially planned to raise $500 million by selling 5 million shares of perpetual preferred stock, SATS, at $100 per share through a Series A IPO. Subsequently, the company announced it would sell 7 million shares at $90 per share, increasing the funds raised by $130 million. In addition to increasing its Bitcoin holdings, Strive stated that these funds would also be used to acquire Bitcoin-related products, supplement working capital, purchase assets, and for other business activities to promote company growth. The SATS shares from this offering are scheduled to settle on October 20, 2026, and their fixed cumulative dividend of 15% will remain unchanged. Strive currently manages over $2.8 billion in assets and holds 35,595 Bitcoins, valued at $2.9 billion at current prices.
