The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index has fallen for eight consecutive trading days, marking its longest losing streak since the 2008 financial crisis. NVIDIA's stock price has also recorded declines on seven of the past eight trading days. Against this backdrop, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated in a Bloomberg interview in Berlin on Thursday that the current market volatility "will eventually pass." He attributed this to the transformative nature of AI technology, which will positively impact every industry and every country, emphasizing that this process is still in its early stages and will not be altered by short-term fluctuations. CoreWeave, an AI infrastructure company, saw its stock price plummet by over a quarter this week, and its corporate bond prices also fell to levels typically signaling financial distress. NVIDIA is one of CoreWeave's major shareholders.
