Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has revealed he is personally developing a new programming language for the blockchain, which he says will be the first of its kind to enable intents and proof-carrying data (PCD) via Groth16 proofs. Hoskinson believes this new language, along with a concept he's working on for Midnight (a partner blockchain focused on privacy), will solve most problems in the cryptocurrency space and be the "magnum opus" of his career. He did not share details on the language's name, specifications, or release timeframe.
