Al Jazeera reported that Yemeni government forces and Houthi rebels clashed fiercely on multiple fronts, resulting in casualties on both sides. On Saturday, eight government soldiers were killed in Lahij province, and 12 Houthi fighters were killed in Taiz province. Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis continues to deepen, with International Organization for Migration data showing that the conflict has displaced over 233,000 people, including approximately 121,000 in Taiz province alone. The World Health Organization warned that 12 hospitals in Taiz city have only four days' worth of fuel remaining and face severe shortages of surgical supplies, oxygen, and medicines, with the cholera epidemic worsening. Additionally, the conflict has spread to East Africa, with the UNHCR confirming over 4,000 refugees have arrived in the region, and Djibouti refugee camps reporting 31 cholera cases and one death. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that an LNG tanker was attacked by armed individuals off the coast of Al Mukalla, Yemen. The tanker returned fire, forcing the attackers to withdraw.
