CoinDesk analysis points out that last Friday, the U.S. Wall Street "fear index" VIX surged 21.5% to 19.99, its largest single-day gain since June 5, while the S&P 500 index fell 1.09% during the same period. However, historical data shows that after the VIX rose sharply by 20% or more on a Friday, it fell on the following Monday 25 out of 32 times, with an average decline of 4.5%. Additionally, Bitcoin remained stable over the weekend, trading above $80,000, and its volatility index BVIV barely moved after falling 1% last Friday, which is often seen as a leading indicator for traditional market openings on Monday. Seasonal factors also support a decline in the VIX in November.
