Thirty-nine years after the original 'Black Monday' stock market crash, crypto markets are showing a modest rebound. Bitcoin is up about 1% over the last 30 days, currently at $82,161, despite being down 1.4% on the week. Other major cryptocurrencies, however, saw larger declines, with Ethereum down 5.3% to $2,415, and an average 7.5% drop across other majors. Spot Bitcoin ETFs shed $228.4 million and Ethereum ETFs lost $320.1 million last week, totaling $548.5 million. For October, combined ETF outflows reached $1.86 billion. Analysts note that crashes rarely occur when widely anticipated, suggesting a low risk of a repeat 'Black Monday' today.
